Iberia extends range of flights to Croatia
22 June 2010Extra flights to Croatia are now in operation, after Spanish airline Iberia extended its range of services to the Adriatic tourist hotspot of Dubrovnik.
The services are being operated from Madrid Airport and take off three times a week until the end of September, offering European tourists an additional way to reach the ancient city on Croatia's Dalmatian coast.
Flights to and from Dubrovnik with Iberia have been timed to offer connections to the rest of the continent and North America, opening up Croatia to a large portion of the world.
The journeys leave the Spanish capital on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, taking approximately three hours and returning shortly afterwards.
For those who want to take a look at Zagreb, Croatia's capital city, Iberia will resume its service from early July.
Dubrovnik is also accessible from the UK, with airlines including easyJet and British Airways landing in the historic coastal resort.
