With the city's traditional Christmas market in full flow and excited locals and tourists looking forward to the annual carnival, it is a vibrant period in the resort's calendar.
And this has been added to with the arrival of a temporary ice rink in the heart of the ancient destination, explains the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
The rink opened on Sunday (December 5th) and will be in place until January 23rd, providing a place for people of all ages to get their skates on and glide.
As well as standard skating sessions, bosses have decided to liven up the facility by hosting discos on ice.
