International film festival comes to Zagreb
03 February 2009Movie enthusiasts will no doubt be delighted to hear that the dates for Croatia's eighth international film festival have been announced.
The Croatian Times reported that the Review of Amateur Films' (RAF) cinematic spectacle will arrive in Zagreb on March 29th and run until April 4th.
As the festival draws closer, it is likely that Croatian tourism will receive a boost with travellers from all over Europe and the wider world arriving to attend.
The films on show will be across a number of genres and divided into four distinct categories: films made by children and teenagers; films lasting 20 minutes or under; productions running no longer than an hour; and full-length feature films.
All of the submissions must have been filmed and completed since the beginning of 2008 and must be strictly amateur productions.
For those interested in showing a film at the event, entries for the competition must be completed and sent to the RAF by February 20th.
