Jean Reno: My best-ever holiday was in "amazing" Croatia
02 September 2010Jean Reno, star of the Da Vinci Code and Leon, has revealed his favourite holiday of all time was in Croatia.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the actor says his top trip was on the Dalmatian coast with his wife and two young children.
He explains the family originally went only to see close friend and singing star Lenny Kravitz live in concert, but enjoyed themselves so much they decided to stay for longer.
"Croatia is an amazing place. We went diving and ate plenty of delicious food," Reno tells the newspaper.
He adds they spent most of their time in the country on a boat, perhaps visiting some of the beautiful Adriatic islands that line Croatia's coast, as well as swimming in the crystal-clear sea.
Reno, 62, was born in Morocco and has been appearing in blockbuster films, including Mission: Impossible and Godzilla, since the late 1970s.
