Kvarner 'is right for people looking for dream holiday'

Holidaymakers whose dream break includes glorious sunshine, attractive beaches and a natural Riviera will find everything they are looking for in the Kvarner region of Croatia.

That is the view of the Croatian National Tourist Board, which suggests setting sail from the shore to any of the islands scattered nearby in the Adriatic Sea is an ideal way to spend time.

Meanwhile, other people may be more interested in ten kilometres of peace, tranquillity and some of the cleanest air around in the surrounding countryside.

Here, tourists are in the company of eagles, bears and wolves, as well as a host of mountains and waterways.

And those seeking fun in the sun can head to the Riviera, where time on the beach or simply taking in the breathtaking views may be top of the agenda.

Perhaps the best way to reach the Kvarner region is by flying to Zadar Airport, which is served by low-cost airlines such as Ryanair.
