London to host celebration of 'all things Split'

For one night this week the Croatian city of Split is to be transported into central London.

Would-be visitors staying in the British capital are to be given the chance to experience the Dalmatian hotspot without leaving the UK in the form of a series of talks on Thursday (April 16th), according to Find-Croatia.

As part of the event at the Croatian Embassy, there will be a number of talks from the Balkan nation's Ministry of Culture and Conservation Institute.

Included will be information on one of Split's biggest draws - Diocletian's Palace - which is one of the most prominent examples of the city's stunning architecture.

Talks at the Croatian Embassy, which is located at 21 Conway Street, will begin at approximately 18:00 GMT. The nearest tube stations are Great Portland Street and Warren Street.

One of Split's largest tourist attractions is the yearly boat show, which regularly attracts thousands of foreign visitors to the Adriatic city.
