Lumley 'shocked' to find Ab Fab DVDs on Croatia holiday

Joanna Lumley has spoken of her surprise at seeing DVDs of television show Absolutely Fabulous while staying at a villa in Croatia.

In an interview with Grazia magazine, the actress, who played Patsy, she was shocked to see the worldwide popularity of the comedy first-hand.

"Recently, I went on holiday with my family to a villa in Croatia. We were in the back of beyond and they had a shop with DVDs and there, with Croatian writing on it, was old Patsy!"

Lumley added she "adored" making the series, adding the cast would sometimes "just lay on the ground because we laughed so much" during rehearsals.

And she is not the only celebrity who has enjoyed spending time in the country recently.

The Croatian Times recently reported Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone was spotted enjoying himself there, while legendary crooner Leonard Cohen spent some time there while playing a concert in Zagreb last month.
