Montenegrin marina 'on schedule for completion'
03 April 2009Montenegro's exciting new marina project is on schedule for its opening later this summer, it has been reported.
Tivat's new tourist destination, Porto Montenegro, was rumoured to be subject to delays in its completion, but the head of the company behind the marina has reassured travellers that it will be open in June, according to Vijesti.
The 50 million euros development will include a number of attractions, including restaurants and shopping.
Executive director of Adriatic Marinas, Oliver Corlette, told Vijesti that construction was on track.
He said: "A reason more for this to happen is the fact that I am getting married in the first weekend of June and [the] marina has to be opened by then since 250 guests from all over the world will be coming to the wedding."
Mr Corlette added that once the project was complete, it would be "absolutely the best building in Montenegro".
