More flights to Croatia set for 2011
19 May 2010Although this summer has not yet arrived, flights to Croatia for next year have already been confirmed by one leading airline.
Jet2.com has announced it will serve the ancient city of Dubrovnik from Belfast, Northern Ireland from just £39.99 each way.
This may be good news for those who never quite got around to booking their Croatia holiday for the summer of 2010.
"We decided to launch our summer 2011 schedule earlier than ever, to give customers the chance to book their flights early," explained the carrier's chief executive Philip Meeson.
The new flights to Dubrovnik will start on May 1st next year and go on sale this week.
Those who take the opportunity to visit Croatia on the new route will find themselves in one of Europe's most historic and relaxed cities.
Alternatively, airlines such as easyJet, BMI and British Airways offer routes to Dubrovnik from the UK mainland.
