Morgan Freeman movie to entertain travellers to Croatia at Split film festival
26 August 2010Travellers to Croatia can enjoy a host of top films under the summer sky in Split as part of an upcoming event.
The fourth annual Zvoncac Film Festival is set to get underway tomorrow (August 27th) and will run until September 10th, reports the Croatian Times.
Morgan Freeman's movie The Code is due to be the first film shown to attendees, with the production also starring the likes of Antonio Banderas, Radha Mitchell and Rade Serbedzija.
Sports and games programmes will also be available for youngsters between 18:00 and 20:00 local time when the films begin, the newspaper notes.
The numerous benefits of a holiday in Split may be obvious to many people, but catching the latest Hollywood blockbuster is perhaps an unexpected bonus.
Among the famous faces to have stayed in accommodation in Split in recent days is former England football manager Sven Goran Eriksson, who was in the ancient city to open a new sports initiative, the same source revealed.
