Morgan Freeman set for Dubrovnik holiday

People who holiday in Dubrovnik this summer may wish to time their break to coincide with that of Hollywood icon Morgan Freeman.

The A-list star is due to arrive in the ancient city – where he is likely to be staying in Dubrovnik accommodation – in time for August 1st.

This is the date he is first due to appear at the Dubrovnik Film Meeting, where he will be promoting Invictus, a movie starring fellow Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood.

Freeman will also be in attendance the following day, giving fans two days to potentially rub shoulders with their hero.

It is thought the actor will be arriving at the festival in the role of special guest, although his exact duties remain unclear.

However, it could be seen by travellers to Croatia as another boost to their trip, with the chance to listen to Freeman an attractive proposition.

His arrival will come hot on the heels of fellow actor Gerard Butler, with the star recently enjoying a holiday in Dubrovnik following filming in the area.
