Morgan Freeman 'thoroughly enjoyed holiday in Croatia'

World-famous American actor Morgan Freeman is said to have enjoyed his recent holiday in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Guide2Croatia spoke to organisers of the Dubrovnik Film Festival who suggested the Hollywood star was one of the most laid-back guests they had ever encountered.

Freeman arrived in Croatia from Bosnia Herzegovina, where he had also attended a major film event.

While in the Adriatic country the thespian took in the premiere of his new movie Invictus and spent time at a luxury, all-star party that had been organised by a local firm, the online portal explains.

Following the hectic schedule, Freeman spent a couple of days relaxing on the beaches of Croatia and ventured to the nearby islands with Goran Strok, a hotel owner.

Other famous faces to have taken a trip to Croatia recently include Leonard Cohen, with the Croatian Times reporting Gloria magazine noted the singer arrived several days ahead of a performance in the country.
