20 December 2010A programme of events has been lined up to help travellers to Dubrovnik celebrate the turn of the new year on December 31st.
The city's tourist board reveals details of what guests in the resort can expect should they book accommodation in Croatia for New Year's Eve.
Among the highlights are sure to be a number of performances from local musicians, with a selection of singers and players of instruments lined up to provide tunes for the entire day.
On January 1st, the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra will hold its traditional concert on the Stradun, which is the main street.
It will perform a plethora of beautiful operatic melodies that the organisation suggests will be a "special gift" to all the holidaymakers in the city and serve only to "enhance the unforgettable new year's fun".
