Online shop could be useful to self-caterers on Croatian holiday
21 December 2009People planning a stay in a Croatian villa on a self-catering basis may wish to make a note of the country's first online supermarket which will deliver groceries to the door.
The historic city of Split will be the first to benefit from the delivery service and brand new website which allows shoppers to browse products from the comfort of their villa, waterfront property or mountainous retreat.
More than 7,000 products will be available and the supermarket will bring orders to people in property in Split and the surrounding areas, such as Trogir, Solin and Kastela.
"Online supermarket customers will avoid the crowds in stores, save time and money as products will be cheaper online", announced Josip Kurbasa, the founder of the website.
It will be possible to pay either online by card or by cash when shopping is delivered.
Also of interest to people planning a trip to Split could be a Ministry of Sound concert which has been scheduled for New Year's Eve in the city.
