Patients travelling to Croatia for dental treatments
09 December 2008An increasing number of people are travelling to Croatia for dental treatment, which is better than in Britain, according to a writer on a blog.
The biggest reason Britons travel to the country to see a dentist is because it saves them money - as prices can be between 15 and 85 per cent cheaper.
Daniel Shaw, writing on merinews.com, says many clinics abroad offer better quality care including free transportation, low-cost meals and discounted accommodation.
He says: "The National Health Service excludes a variety of conditions and treatments such as cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, porcelain veneers, all ceramic crowns - to name only a few."
Mr Shaw also comments that clinics abroad have shorter waiting periods meaning people are in pain for less time and are not frustrated by waiting for an appointment.
Patients could choose to stay in a place offered by Croatian Villas, which has recently launched a new selection of apartments called Croatian Villas Premium Collection.
Croatian Villas offering villas, apartments and waterside properties from the people who really know Croatia.
