People who travel to Dubrovnik 'will find lots going on'
08 November 2010Tourists planning a trip to Dubrovnik for a holiday in the coming months should rest assured they will not be stuck for things to do in the ancient city, if one expert is to be believed.
Gordon Miller, writing for the Daily Mail, says there is plenty of accommodation in Dubrovnik that is perfect for those intending to spend time in the area.
He quotes Lucy Searle, online editor for Channel 4 Homes, who visited the historic resort and ended up buying a second home there.
She says: "On the second night of our visit, we went into the pedestrianised Old Town for a meal and that was it - we fell for it. The Old Town is fascinating."
Ms Searle adds there is "always lots going on" in Dubrovnik, from music festivals to dance displays and cultural gatherings.
Dubrovnik Tourist Board recently confirmed one highlight of the coldest part of the year - the city's carnival - is to return this winter.
