Photo gallery may provide inspiration for Croatia holiday
15 April 2010People travelling to Croatia may wish to head to Split and enjoy an exhibition of photography detailing a 4,000-km ride on a Vespa scooter.
The display is due to open at the Photo Club Split this Saturday (April 17th) and will run for more than a fortnight, closing on May 4th, reports the Croatian Times.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to take a look at the shots captured by Croatia-based Elvir Tabakovic on his recent rides through northern Italy and on the Adriatic coast.
Mr Tabakovic took two trips in the region, so perhaps starting a Croatia holiday at the event could provide the inspiration for the remainder of a stay in the country.
The opening of the gallery caps what has been a busy time for Split, with visitors to the ancient city offered a number of events and attractions to enjoy in recent weeks.
One such function, the Croatia Boat Show, draws to a close this Sunday in the famous harbour area.
Croatian Villas offering villas, apartments and waterside properties from the people who really know Croatia.
