Princess Anne in royal visit to Croatia

Her Royal Highness (HRH) Princess Anne is to visit Croatia in the coming weeks in a bid to boost the country's ties with the UK.

Between February 2nd and 4th, the Queen's only daughter will take official trips to the Croatian capital Zagreb and the Adriatic coastal city of Split.

While in Croatia, the princess will meet with the president Stjepan Mesic and a number of other dignitaries, according to the nation's embassy.

David Blunt, the British ambassador to Croatia, commented: "I know that HRH the Princess Royal is much looking forward to this visit.

"It will provide an excellent opportunity to see the major developments in Croatia since HRH's last brief visit over ten years ago."

From next month, visitors to Croatia will be able to invest in the country's property with significantly less hassle due to the implementation of new legislation.
