Public invited to final casting of Croatia beauty pageant

The upcoming Miss and Mr Croatia contest is currently creating a stir in the country and the organisers have now invited the general public to come along and check out the hopefuls.

On May 4th, Zagreb's Hotel International will play host to the final casting for the hotly anticipated event, from which many contestants go on to make a splash in the fashion world, Javno reported.

During the event, which begins in the grand salon 1pm, the finalists for the spectacle itself will be chosen from the many hopefuls in attendance.

Last year, the final saw Josipa Kusic take home the title of Miss Croatia 2008, while Dino Bubicic was awarded the men's prize.

While in the Croatian capital, visitors may want to explore some of the other attractions Zagreb has to offer, such as its excellent array of shops, restaurants and bars.
