Punk star set to perform in Croatia
08 September 2010A punk music legend has been confirmed as a performer at a venue in Croatia, which could lead to fans booking a holiday in the country in order to catch him in action.
Sonny Vincent, renowned in his genre in his native US, is coming to Zagreb in October, the Croatian Times reports.
Playing alongside his band The Dumbell, Vincent is to appear at SAX club in the capital on the third day of the month.
The Interzone, a popular local band, are said to be supporting the established star, the newspaper asserts - meaning the event may also prove a hit with locals.
As well as enjoying the punk music on offer, a trip to Zagreb could also serve as an opportunity to take a closer look at one of Europe's most historic cities.
Music fans may already be considering a holiday in Croatia, with iconic heavy metal band Guns N' Roses due in the Balkan nation later this month for a leg of their current world tour.
