Rapping reverend set to perform to Croatia travellers
20 April 2010People heading on a Croatia holiday next month will have the chance to witness a unique act - a reverend rapping.
The unusual performance is part of the Zagreb Se Budi festival - which translates as Zagreb Awakens, according to a report by Vecernji List detailed by the Croatian Times.
Taking to the stage will be the reverend Zlatko Sudac, who will entertain those at the hip-hop event with a track promoting an anti-drugs message, the newspaper explains.
For those not convinced the religious figurehead will not have enough to wow the crowds alone, looking out for the performances by more-renowned hip-hop acts such as Bolensa Braca, General Woo and Target could be a priority.
Music fans planning to attend the festival as part of their Croatia holiday should head for the Dom Sportova venue in the capital when it kicks off on May 8th.
Zagreb's summer celebrations will also be taking place during a May visit, having started last Saturday (April 17th) and running until September.
