Slovenia 'has great opportunities for skiers'

Slovenia is a great ski destination and it is widely know for its opportunities for choosing between slopes for experienced skiers and families and beginners.

There are also short travel distances across the country making it easy for ski fans to find the right slope for their level of experience, the Slovenia Tourist Board says.

A total of 55 major ski resorts are available to choose from including Kanin, Vogel, Krvavaec, Kranjska, Gora, Mariborsko, Pohorje and many others.

There will also be a major development taking place this season - the connection between the Kanin ski resort and Italian Sella Nevea.

An Advent Art and Crafts Fair will be held in Teresa Park in Bled, Slovenia every Saturday and Sunday during the festive season this year.

The Fair begins on November 29th and between December 20th and January 4th it will be staged every day for people to visit.
