Split party could be basis for great Croatian holiday
29 December 2009New year revellers may wish to book a last-minute Croatian holiday and head to Split, where an audio and visual show will be taking place.
The "spectacular" event will begin at 19:00 local time on December 31st and feature five Croatian DJ's and a number of bands and singers, according to the Croatian Times.
Arguably the highlight of the night will come when acclaimed French DJ Antoine Clamaran takes over the decks at the Spaladium Arena and promotes his new album.
It is the first time Mr Clamaran will have performed in Split, the newspaper states.
Guests at the new year party will be able to dance and sing along to their favourite tunes on two purpose-built stages.
The event is being organised by the same company that is directing the celebrations at London's O2 Arena - which could persuade many that a Croatian holiday is well worth booking for such a party.
Last week online tourism adviser Guide2Croatia promised that people who book a Croatian villa or waterfront property to see in 2010 are "guaranteed" a party in the Balkan country.
