Split set for cup clash

Hajduk Split are set to face Deportivo La Coruna in the second leg of their UEFA Cup qualifier.

The Spanish side will travel to Croatia tomorrow night for the match.

Hajduk earned a 0-0 draw in the first leg of the tie, with Deportivo striker Ivan Sanchez stating the match will be tough for the La Liga outfit.

He told Goal.com: "I would have preferred to win [the first leg] by one or two goals because now the return leg in Croatia will be harder."

The winner of the tie will progress to the first round of the UEFA Cup, potentially leading to football fans choosing to travel to Split.

Meanwhile, England manager Fabio Capello has stated Michael Owen could play a part when his side travel to Croatia next month.

Italian Capello will watch the striker on Saturday and assess whether he is ready to start in the World Cup qualifier.
