'Top five' honeymoon trips in Croatia
13 October 2008The most popular and romantic places to visit in Croatia have been revealed by a company which organises honeymoons.
Blissport says the top activities are a day tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik, a visit to the island of Korcula and a trip to enjoy the views in the city of Mostar.
Completing the top five is a sea kayaking tour across the Adriatic Sea and a Taste of Dalmatia day tour making olive oil and tasting cheese, ham and wine.
John Hartman, co-founder of Blissport, says Croatia is a less obvious, worthwhile holiday choice which has a melting pot of history and culture.
"With 1,100 miles of striking coastline along the Adriatic Sea, Croatia is the perfect choice for people who are seeking a little adventure," he added.
Airline operator Jet2.com recently revealed it is introducing flights to Dubrovnik from Belfast International Airport starting on May 2nd 2009.
Flights will start at £56.99 one way including taxes.
