Tourism festivals underway in Split
15 October 2009Travellers in Split could be interested to know that the city is this week hosting three international tourism and culture festivals.
Yesterday (October 14th) saw the start of the International Tourism Fair, the International Tour Film Festival and Tourist Workshop and the Entente Florale Golden Flower of Europe 2010, reports the Croatian Times.
The tourism events will promote and develop travel and tourism within Croatia - focusing especially on the environment, landscape and infrastructure.

All of the events are being supported by Croatian president Stjepan Mesic.
Last month a British couple, Mark Farrell and Amanda Church, wrote on sail-world.com that Split is a brilliant place to visit.
