Tourists offered chance to mingle with celebs at Dubrovnik restaurant
23 August 2010Tourists staying in accommodation in Dubrovnik are among those to be handed the opportunity to dine out at a former monastery, where they could bump into a host of famous faces.
The Clarissa building in the city, which previously housed scores of nuns, is now a restaurant serving local food, reports the Croatian Times.
Named Klarisa after its former guise, the catering outlet has 250 seats and offers a range of Mediterranean cuisine.
It has instantly become popular with scores of celebrities while they have been enjoying a holiday in Dubrovnik, the newspaper states.
These include Roman Abramovich, Tom Cruise and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones.
Also said to have eaten at Klarisa are Bernie Ecclestone, John Malkovich and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Earlier this summer, the Daily Mail printed photographs of Hollywood star Eva Longoria enjoying a break in Croatia, including some time spent in Dubrovnik.
