Travel to Croatia for fine art exhibition
27 October 2010A renowned Croatian fine artist is set to display some of his greatest work at a special exhibition due to be held in Rijeka next month.
People who are in Croatia for a holiday on November 4th will be in an ideal position to view the pieces on show from Vlado Franjevic, who is currently based in Liechtenstein, reports the Croatian Times.
The event will be held at the KUNS Gallery within the city's Multimedia Center and is to be curated by Carli Cargonja.
Art historian Branko Cerovac will also be on hand to officially open the display, which will include works of art and literature, the newspaper explains.
Franjevic and his wife Rajka Poljak regularly showcase their creations in Liechtenstein, close to the border with Germany.
Rijeka is located in the north of Croatia and offers visitors a thriving marina area and historic old town, as well as picturesque views of the Adriatic Sea.
