Travel to Croatia for unique healthy eating fair
16 February 2011Travelling to Croatia next month may be a popular action among Britons who love to eat healthy and delicious food.
That is because the Mediterranean Health Food and Medicinal Herbs fair is coming to the ancient city of Dubrovnik between March 24th and 27th.
Locals and tourists alike converge on the Valamar Lacroma resort for the event, which attracts numerous exhibitors showing off their tasty wares.
In addition to the chance to try and buy top-class cuisine, guests can sit in on educational presentations and lectures at tables around the venue.
The fair is said to be the most important date in the calendar in terms of organic agriculture in Croatia.
Dubrovnik restaurants and bakeries also come out in force to present their delicacies and perhaps inspire people to dine out while on holiday in Croatia.
Other special events taking place in Dubrovnik include the city's carnival, which is already underway and runs until March 6th.
