Travellers to Split set to enjoy 15m boats

Fans of top-quality boats and cars may find a holiday in Croatia is perfect for them this month.

On Saturday (April 10th), the Croatia Boat Show kicks off in Split, supported by a road vehicle festival, reports the Croatian Times.

The highlight of the nautical event will arguably be the vessels of more than 15 metres in size, which are frequently shown off by exhibitors.

As one of the top ten boat shows in the world, the most famous brands will be in Split, the newspaper explains.

Now into its 12th consecutive year, the event will also feature cars by companies such as Mazda, Audi and Jaguar.

Those interested in the latest designs - whether they be water or road based - may wish to book a last-minute Split holiday and head to the Adriatic coast.

The show is set to run until April 18th in the historic city's famous harbour area.
