Travellers to southern Croatia set to enjoy new shopping centre
20 August 2010Tourists travelling to Croatia in the coming months and heading for the southern part of the Dalmatian coast may find a new shopping centre is worth leaving the sun and sand behind for a day.
The Park and Shop complex, built at a cost of €9 million (£7.39 million), contains a range of stores, reports the Croatian Times.
With more than 10,000 sq m of space, there could be something for every shopper looking to take home a reminder of their time in Croatia.
Among the names to have opened an outlet in the development are Benetton, Franco, Mana Moda, S'Oliver, New Yorker and Argentum, the newspaper states.
It is located in the town of Imotski, which is inland from the coastal resort of Makarska.
Meanwhile, those planning a holiday in the north of the country were given a boost earlier this year when the same source reported a shopping centre named Supernova Zagreb had been given planning permission.
