U2 to rock Zagreb

Rock megastars U2 are set to perform two huge concerts in the Croatian capital city this summer.

Zagreb will welcome Bono and the boys on August 9th and 10th as part of their 360 world tour.

The 360 campaign sees the band on their first stadium tour since 2005/6 when they hit the road after releasing their Vertigo album.

Croatia will witness the revolutionary 360 extravaganza, which features a stage that allows the crowd an unobstructed view of the band from any angle.

The U2 website said: "U2 has always been at their best when surrounded by their audience, this staging takes a giant leap forward."

U2 aren't the only internationally renowned musical act to have chosen Croatia as a place to perform this summer.

US rockers the Offspring are also due to take to the stage in Zagreb in September.

Zagreb is known as a metropolitan city and a cultural hub throughout Croatia, hosting an array of artistic, academic and sporting events.
