Unbeatable Croatian property prospects 'no longer secret'
12 February 2008Burgeoning property hotspots like Croatia offer "unbeatable" opportunities to investors, according to one overseas real estate expert.
David Stanley Redfern noted that interested individuals are increasingly looking towards destinations in European countries like Croatia, Montenegro and the Ukraine.
He predicted that the global property market as a whole will experience a 13 per cent annual boost over the next five years.
"The global property arena is constantly expanding, offering potential investors new and unbeatable opportunities throughout the marketplace," stated Mr Redfern.
He added that the "fantastic" returns on offer are "no longer secret" or confined only to professional buyers.
Mr Redfern concluded: "It's something of a natural progression for such a profitable area of investment to attract everyday people looking to change their financially-challenged lifestyles."
Recent figures indicate that around four million British people currently own overseas property, with over a quarter of those actually residing abroad.
Property specialists have suggested that business booms in eastern European countries such as Croatia are down to individuals shedding their fears of the unknown and turning their attention to destinations previously considered "exotic".
