Use new flights to Croatia to enjoy romantic treat
26 January 2011Romantic Britons have been invited to take advantage of new flights to Croatia and take their loved one on a break in the capital city of Zagreb.
The Croatian National Tourism Board explains budget airline easyJet is set to open the route between London Gatwick Airport and Zagreb on February 11th.
It suggests fares from £25.99 and a flight time of less than two hours will make it easy for people to access the fascinating city.
The organisation promises Zagreb will "take your breath away" as people gaze in wonder at its "dazzling architecture", while museums and parks are also among the highlights.
And those who do travel to Croatia with their partner may wish to get their hands on a licitar – a gingerbread heart produced in the capital.
UK carrier easyJet already runs flights from Britain to the Dalmatian coast, landing at airports in the popular resorts of Split and Dubrovnik.
