Villa in Dubrovnik 'tempting' for tourists
19 November 2008A villa in Dubrovnik is a 'tempting' place for tourists who are visiting the country to stay and relax, according to a national newspaper.
Villa Sheherezade, which is offered by holiday company Croatian Villas, sleeps 12 people, is on the seafront and has a private pool.
The company has a good selection of apartments both in and around the city and a handful of villas, of which Sheherezade is the most commendable, the Daily Telegraph says.
In the winter months Dubrovnik is a good choice for tourists as it provides the visitor with a mixture of ancient traditions and a modern culture.
Often called the Pearl of the Adriatic, the city is quieter over the New Year period than in the summer months giving tourists more space to explore.
Visitors can discover the historic buildings of the city, which overlooks the picturesque Dalmatian Coast, including Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches.
