Watch skiing World Cup while on winter holiday in Croatia

The most prestigious event on the skiing calendar takes place in Croatia in January 2011, with those on holiday in the country set to be in line for the prime viewing spots.

Hosted by the Sljeme Ski Resort close to Zagreb, the Alpine World Cup will feature some of the globe's finest male and female skiers.

Some of the disciplines are contested at different locations, so following the tournament closely will also enable fans to see a little more of Croatia than just its capital.

Slalom, giant slalom, super G, combined and downhill events will all take place during the competition, which gets underway on January 4th.
