Weather may tempt some to book last-minute Croatia holiday
26 November 2010The arrival of snow could tempt some people to book a winter sports holiday in Croatia for this weekend or the following days.
According to a report by Jutarnji List, cited by the Croatian Times, the white powder is expected to fall in the country on Saturday (November 27th).
It suggests the capital city, Zagreb, will receive the first flakes before other areas, such as Gorski Kotar and Lika, also take the brunt of the cold weather.
Temperatures are expected to plummet to below minus five degrees Celsius, creating ideal conditions for those who want to enjoy winter sports.
With snow all but assured, now might be the time to book a holiday in Croatia in order to enjoy one of Europe's best up-and-coming ski and snowboard destinations.
Earlier this week, the same news source reported people heading to the country should get ready for a barrage of snow and cold weather.
