Zagreb Christmas exhibition could lure festive visitors
11 December 2009Tourists with an abundance of festive spirit may wish to book a trip to Croatia to enjoy a Christmas crib display which is being shown at a Zagreb hotel.
The festive scene is the work of nun Samuela Premuzic who has a long history of exhibiting unique artworks around Croatia, reports the Croatian Times.
It is already available to view at the four-star Hotel Aristos in the Buzin district of the capital city and will remain in place for some time.
Hotel management told the newspaper their aim was to provide a true Christmas atmosphere in the run-up to December 25th.
Other special treats laid on for people passing through the hotel include an ample supply of mince pies and mulled wine, as well as a special wellness package, the publication states.
Zagreb could be the perfect destination for a festive break, with travel writer Adela Markovic recently writing for the Guide2Croatia website that the city had "an air of magic" about it in December.
