Zagreb hosting Souvenir Fair

Zagreb in Croatia is currently hosting a souvenir fair which runs from December 4th to 7th in the Bocarski Dom building, it has been reported.

The fair has been organised by the Association of Innovators of Croatia, the Croatian Community of Technical Trade and the Association of Craftsmen of Zagreb.

It aims to show the country's historical and cultural heritage and will try and bring traditional trades back to life, according to javno.com.

The souvenir fair offers a view of all of the richness of Croatian possibilities and presents its varying cultural, historical and geographical differences.

Sponsored by the ministry of the economy, employment and entrepreneurship and the Zagreb city government, the event includes 100 exhibitors.

An exhibition featuring the work of travel writer Mario Saletto opened at the Technical Museum in Zagreb last week.

Entitled the World Revealed - TV Studio in a Backpack, the exhibition looks at the numerous television documentary films made by Saletto, find-croatia.com says.
