Zagreb tourist office praised
23 September 2008The tourist information office in Zagreb has been praised by visitors to the city, it has been revealed.
Javno.com reports a sample of 43 surveys handed into the board revealed tourists in the Croatian capital also regarded its citizens as approachable and kind.
In addition, the cleanliness of the city was praised in the research, carried out among visitors from a range of locations such as Australia, Canada, France, the UK and US.
According to the news provider, one American tourist left the comment: "The tourist office was very helpful and friendly. By far the best tourist office I have been to. Great service with a smile!"
It was revealed by Javno.com yesterday (September 22nd) that Zagreb has enjoyed a ten per cent increase in foreign visitors from the beginning of the year until the end of July.
The capital's office for strategic planning and city development additionally stated there was an overall 9.2 per cent rise in travellers to the area for the same period.
